Other Architectural Services
While drawings are the immediate service associated with architectural practices, our expertise covers much more as part of our architectural services.
Projects are much more than just drawings and you can rely on us for different levels of input.
This includes keeping clients up to date with ever changing legislation, initiating feasibility studies and providing advice on new and redevelopment sites, and providing information on planning issues, costs, and timescales. This is all valuable and essential to assist developers with land purchases and private individuals with house and plot purchases.
The earlier we can become involved with a project, the better. Clients need to make informed decisions on projects small and large prior to committing to proceeding with fees or making large purchases of land that cannot be developed.
Once drawings are completed, and permissions have been obtained there is more work to be done, which we are more than happy to assist with. This includes preparing tender documents, liaising with contractors and obtaining building work quotations for the project. During the construction phase we can be retained to supervise works, helping to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Project supervision is not to just be thought of for larger projects. Smaller projects, where contractors working on a family’s home with the owners living within the house during works, can become difficult and personal. A third party takes the stress from the situation and we can keep the focus of where it needs to be: completion.
